National Finals Rodeo
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas invites rodeo fans to mosey on down to celebrate National Finals Rodeo (NFR) with tailgating parties, entertainment, autograph signings, food and drink specials and more, December 6 – 15.
Hard Rock Hotel hosts a NFR Tailgate in the Paradise parking lot from 3 p.m. to midnight December 6 – 9, 13 – 15. The outdoor event features entertainment for all ages with performances on the Cooper Tires stage by duet CJ Simmons (December 6 – 9) and country rock band Cash Presley (December 6 – 9, 13 – 15). Autograph signing sessions will be held with riders Cody Whitney from 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. December 7 and Steve Woolsey from 10 to 11 p.m. December 13. Guests can dine on hot dogs and chili dogs while sipping beverages from the two-story Anheuser Bush bar. Gaudin Ford will also be on hand to showcase unique and classic vehicles.
NFR fanatics looking to wet their whistle will enjoy drink specials outside and at all casino bars such as buckets of Bud Light for $20, shot kicker with any drink or beer purchase for $5 and shot or drink of Crown Royal or Jim Beam for $6. For every drink purchased during the NFR Tailgate, guests receive one raffle ticket and are entered to win exclusive prizes. Names will be drawn at 11 p.m., patrons must be present to win. Prizes include western wear from Pinto Ranch, StageCoach Country Festival 2013 package including tickets to the sold out event, lodging and transportation, and more.
Inside at Vinyl, concertgoers can rock out to free shows including country western band Cletus & Mexican Sweat at 9 p.m. December 6 –7, southern rockers Thrillbilly Deluxe at 9 p.m. December 9 and country crooner Derryl Perry at 10 p.m. December 10 – 13.
Cowboys and cowgirls looking to indulge in the flavors of the Wild West can treat their taste buds to food specials inside 35 Steaks + Martinis, December 6 – 15. The NFR menu includes Cider Braised Pork Shank with white bean ragout and caramelized apples and pears for $45, Cowboy Surf and Turf, a decadent 18-ounce bone-in rib-eye and a 16-ounce butter poached lobster tail for $110 and Barbeque Rubbed Cedar Wrapped Salmon with grilled asparagus, tobacco onions and lemon dill honey for $42.
Guests heading to official NFR events at the Thomas & Mack Center can catch a ride using the hotel’s complimentary transportation. Shuttles will be available outside the property’s main entrance from 5 to 6 p.m. and 9 to 10:30 p.m. daily.
