And The Award For Best Pool Goes To...

Looking to come to Las Vegas this summer and wondering where the best place to chill out and cool down is? Look no further than our pool!  Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas’ 4.8-acre tropical oases took the no.1 spot for “Best Hotel Pool” in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice month long contest. The honor was recently announced after readers voted from a list of 20 nominees selected by a panel of hotel industry experts. Hard Rock Hotel was the only Las Vegas property to be featured in the top 10.

The resort’s poolside paradise includes REHAB Pool, Nirvana Pool and Breathe Pool. REHAB Pool houses the world-famous REHAB dayclub and the poolside concert series Friday Night Live at the Pool. REHAB has been called “the original and yet still the best party” in Sin City by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and “still sizzling at 10 years” by Las Vegas Weekly. It was featured on Travel Channel’s “21 Sexiest Beach Bars” calling it “the must-see place on a Sunday afternoon;” deemed the “best known, biggest and craziest pool party” by the Los Angeles Times; and said to be “legendarily raucous” by Travel + Leisure. In 2013, it won the “(DAY) Lifetime Achievement Award” in Vegas Seven’s Daylife Awards.

Rehab’s current upcoming line-up includes actor Kevin Dillon from the newly released Entourage movie, a Bassrush EDC Pool Party during Las Vegas Electric Daisy Carnival, Flux Pavilion, Nina Sky, and more.  Rehab will also host its third annual Rehab Bikini Invitational contest this summer that features $100,000 in cash and prizes.  Think you have what it takes to be crowned the Rehab Bikini Invitational winner? Sign up here. Preliminary rounds are June 13, July 11 and August 8.  The top 10 winners from each preliminary round will automatically advance to the finale on September 19.

On select Fridays throughout the summer, REHAB Pool will also transform into Friday Night Live at the Pool to offer guests an unforgettable poolside concert experience. The current entertainment lineup includes Rusted Root with Moksha (Friday, June 26), Nelson (Friday, July 10), South of Graceland (Friday, July 17), A special Thursday Night edition with G. Love & Special Sauce and Big Head Todd and The Monsters (Thursday, July 23), Puddle of Mudd (Friday, July 31), The Wailers (Friday, Aug. 7), Inner Circle and Fortunate Youth (Friday, Aug. 14), Tribal Seeds with The Expanders (Friday, Aug. 21), Skid Row (Friday, Sept. 4), Blue October (Friday, Sept. 18) and Live (Friday, Oct. 2). All shows start at 9 p.m.

For a more relaxed experience, the ever-popular Nirvana Pool provides hotel guests the ultimate escape with its blissful scenery; plush lounge chairs; personal food, beverage and towel service; and more. Across the patio, Breathe Pool features the same service amenities as well as a chic sunbathing experience with a view of the Las Vegas Strip.

Overall, Hard Rock Hotel’s pool area features more than six banquettes, 25 daybeds and 50 Tahitian-style cabanas. It also unveiled six brand-new, poolside VIP bungalows, which are equipped with high-definition plasma TVs, a telephone, a safe for valuables, a refrigerator and complimentary bottled water, earlier this season. Within the last year alone, Hard Rock Hotel was named one of the world’s best places to swim by MSN Travel, was awarded “Best Hotel Pool” in the 2015 Best of Las Vegas Awards and was chosen as one of Thrillist’s 10 Best Pools in Las Vegas.
