LAS VEGAS – Bret Michaels and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas would like to thank all heroic first responders who courageously serve and protect Las Vegas daily. Michaels, who has dedicated every show of his tour to Las Vegas, will offer two complimentary tickets to his show at The Joint on Friday, Nov. 3. to all first responders.
Coming from a long line of military family himself, Michaels continues to give back in support of public service officers across the nation. “Through my love of country music, I have many industry friends affected by these recent events. My thoughts go out to them as well as the all the fans and their families,” said Michaels. Adding, “In appreciation of the Las Vegas first responders, police, fire, EMT and rescue personnel who worked around the clock to help others during this tragedy, we would like to honor and recognize these heroes.”
Tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis to first responders including active duty police officers, state highway patrols, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, active duty military, veterans, hospital staff and United Blood Services employees. Tickets can be picked up at The Joint box office on the day of the show with both state issued and staff identification.
An auction, fronted by Michaels who is an avid philanthropist, will raise proceeds for the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund organized by Clark County Commission Chairman, Steve Sisolak. Items will include a signed Bret Michaels guitar, a custom-made cowboy hat, a meet and greet with the rock legend and more. All items will be auctioned off during the show at The Joint on Nov. 3.
Michaels will also make a donation through his Life Rocks Foundation to the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund during his performance at The Joint on Nov. 3. This show marks Michaels' only Vegas public appearance this year following two record-breaking Fourth of July shows in Moapa in previous years.
