IN USA TODAY’S 10BEST READERS’ CHOICE CONTEST

Hard Rock Hotel was the only property in Las Vegas to be featured in the top 10

 

LAS VEGAS– Following a month-long voting period,Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas’ 4.8-acre poolside tropical oases took the No. 1 spot for “Best Hotel Pool” in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice contest. The honor was recently announced after readers voted from a list of 20 nominees selected by a panel of hotel industry experts. Hard Rock Hotel was the only Las Vegas property to be featured in the top 10.

 

The resort’s poolside paradise includes REHAB Pool, Nirvana Pool and Breathe Pool. REHAB Pool houses the world-famous REHAB dayclub and the poolside concert series Friday Night Live at the Pool. REHAB has been called “the original and yet still the best party” in Sin City by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and “still sizzling at 10 years” by Las Vegas Weekly. It was featured on Travel Channel’s “21 Sexiest Beach Bars” calling it “the must-see place on a Sunday afternoon;” deemed the “best known, biggest and craziest pool party” by the Los Angeles Times; and said to be “legendarily raucous” by Travel + Leisure. In 2013, it won the “(DAY) Lifetime Achievement Award” in Vegas Seven’s Daylife Awards.

 

On select Fridays throughout the summer, REHAB Pool will also transform into Friday Night Live at the Pool to offer guests an unforgettable poolside concert experience. The current entertainment lineup includes Kottonmouth Kings with special guests (Hed) P.E. and Scare Don’t Fear (Friday, June 19), Rusted Root with special guest Moksha (Friday, June 26), Nelson (Friday, July 10), South of Graceland (Friday, July 17), A special Thursday Night edition featuring G. Love and Special Sauce with special guest Big Head Todd and The Monsters (Thursday, July 23), Puddle of Mudd (Friday, July 31), The Wailers (Friday, Aug. 7), Inner Circle and Fortunate Youth (Friday, Aug. 14), Tribal Seeds with special guest The Expanders (Friday, Aug. 21), Skid Row (Friday, Sept. 4), Blue October (Friday, Sept. 18), Live (Friday, Oct. 2) and Horse Force (Friday, Oct. 9). All shows start at 9 p.m. 

 

For a more relaxed experience, the ever-popular Nirvana Pool provides hotel guests the ultimate escape with its blissful scenery; plush lounge chairs; personal food, beverage and towel service; and more. Across the patio, Breathe Pool features the same service amenities as well as a chic sunbathing experience with a view of the Las Vegas Strip.

 

 

Overall, Hard Rock Hotel’s pool area features more than six banquettes, 25 daybeds and 50 Tahitian-style cabanas. It also unveiled six brand-new, poolside VIP bungalows, which are equipped with high-definition plasma TVs, a telephone, a safe for valuables, a refrigerator and complimentary bottled water, earlier this season. Within the last year alone, Hard Rock Hotel was named one of the world’s best places to swim by MSN Travel, was awarded “Best Hotel Pool” in the 2015 Best of Las Vegas Awards and was chosen as one of Thrillist’s 10 Best Pools in Las Vegas.
