HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO NAMES LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WINNER OF 2014 GUITAR PIN DESIGN CONTEST
LAS VEGAS– Hard Rock Hotel & Casino names Caitlin Grant of Liberty High School the winner of its second annual Guitar Pin Design Contest. The limited-edition pin is on sale now for $12.95 in The Hard Rock Store; 100 percent of the net proceeds benefit The Public Education Foundation to help support fine art scholarships throughout the community.
The 18-year-old’s design was selected from more than 1,300 entries. Grant will be honored with an awards ceremony at Liberty High School as well as receive prizes valued up to $1,000. Prizes included her artwork framed and displayed in The Hard Rock Store, one-night stay in the Real World Suite, breakfast at Mr. Lucky’s Café, one-day pool cabana rental, dinner at 35 Steaks + Martinis and more.
Each year, Hard Rock Hotel partners with The Public Education Foundation and Clark County School District to encourage local students to channel their inner artist to create a new design for the hotel’s signature guitar pins. The annual contest is open to all students in the Clark County School Districts.
